Fanatic Live is all about Windows Live Messenger. Our aim is to bring you technical support, keep you updated on community news, and to provide resources for customizing, developing and improving your Messenger experience.
Fanatic Live started off as “MSN|Fanatic” in early August 2001 by Matthias Braekevelt (UnderDOC) as a Web site to promote “The Friendly Names” for MSN Messenger 3.6 and to help other developers to get started in making programs for MSN Messenger.
MSN|Fanatic had many major overhauls and design changes between then and 2005. When Windows Live Messenger was announced in November 2005, it was time for the biggest overhaul yet. In mid-2005, a new Web site was slowly underway for launch in early 2006, it was pure luck that Windows Live was to be launched around the same time, allowing MSN|Fanatic to expand and even get a name change.
Now with the new Windows Live initiative, Fanatic Live brings a more blog and community orientated feel and the chance to help visitors further.
