This tutorial will show you how to quickly create emoticons using IrfanView (a freeware image viewer & editor) and Advanced GIF Animator (a ‘get-what-you-pay-for’ GIF animator).
- Use Irfanview to cut out the main part of the image you want to keep, while keeping the width and height the same as each other.
- Close and re-open InfanView, paste the cut image and resize it to whatever size you want. 50×50 or 43×43 works best.
- Save the resized image to a .gif using the highest quality.
- Add the saved image to Advanced GIF Animator.
- Add as many loops and images as your heart desires.
- Change the delay between each frame/image to whatever you want. 1.20 of a second works best for slideshows.
- Save the image and import it into Messenger.
I’ll try to make another tutorial on how to do this, but with GIMP instead of AdGif because GIMP is FREE.
