I’ve been wanting to add a poll feature to the site for some time now, so now with the WP-Polls plugin, I will be running regular polls.
You can find the poll in the sidebar, just after the syndication buttons. First question is Are you using Windows Live Messenger?
We already have 108 votes, with 86% of visitors using Windows Live Messenger, among them 28% are not entirely impressed with its new features and look. 14% of visitors are not using Windows Live Messenger, but doesn’t necessarily mean they’re “still” using MSN Messenger, it could just be they’re using a third party client — I never thought of this possibility when creating the poll.
I will post again soon with the results and a new poll. In the meantime, if you haven’t already, go ahead and vote!
If you want to elaborate on your vote, leave a comment for discussion.
i love windows live messenger i think its really cool, i haven’t noticed much in the applications internal features however with messenger plus live which can only be used with windows live messenger i can use a lot of cool scripts that make my whole messenger experience rock. besides i am just one of those people who just has to have the latest version of everything (just incase i am missing out on something).

Yer, same here. I wish I had Windows Vista
I’m using Windows Live Messenger, and frankly, I like it. There are a few things pose a problem, but otherwise, it’s pretty good. Like Stuart and davidpolitis, I try to have the latest version of software, if it’s possible for me to get it.
I used to use Windows Live Messenger. I really liked it too! But then I could not see a friend when they were online, so I went to the help section and tried all the things that it said to do. Except for one thing, deleting all of my contacts and re-entering them. Well after a while I did it because it was angering me. So thnking it would help that is what I did, but now none of my contacts appear properly. I hope soon there is a new version so I can start using it again. To get your contacts back, just get MSN 7.5. After you do this you cannot revert back to Live (bummer).
