Microsoft Messenger for Mac 6.0, a new version of Microsoft’s instant messaging application, is coming “later this year,” according to the company. It will include features such as federation with Yahoo! Messenger, customized emoticons and spell check. Users will also be able to display personal messages or what song’s playing in iTunes.
As it looks, we will - again - have to wait for video and voice support.
thank goodness there’s a mac version coming out…i needed it sooooo bad…haven’t been chatting with my msn buddies for almost a month now….i love msn so pls pls hurry and give us the version for mac the soonest possible time…

I’ve switched to yahoo messenger, msn buddies can talk to me, plus I have voice, video and nudges with yahoo now - i’ve given up on mac messenger, due to microsoft’s lackuster support for their mac software.

WE NEED iSight compatibility on MSN MICROSOFT!!! It seems as if they are leaving it for last, or do not want to invest in h.264 technology?
I think they will do it when Apple owns 49% of marketshare (No doubt this could happen in the next 2-5 years!)

La eterna lucha de los MSN, utilizo muy bien el aMSN y/o Mercury, no tenemos nada a envidiar con los productos MS, como siempre los usuarios se ven perjudicados por el juego de Poder entre companias.
If you need a good messenger software for mac, with video, use aMSN or Mercury messenger, both are great soft.

Yes, you can. aMSN works just like any other MSN client.
MSN messanger 6.0 for MAC is so boring no vedio, no audio support i am surperised they have all possible tecknlology in hand why they do not makd this MSN messager better than the one which is used in PC computers
The reason for delaying video in Messenger for Mac is that the system how Messenger transfers video will change, both for Mac Messenger and Windows Live Messenger. You can read it all here:

theres a msn for mac called “amsn”
on this msn you can hav video conferences but with no sound
it really done my job
so i advise you to get it until this microsoft one comes out

but Messenger with Windows definably is best than with MAC
