This is ridiculous. Plus the fact, It's school holidays, and windows live messenger is the only way I can talk to my buddies! Please help! My router is a Netgear. I have a lap top and a PC. My Laptop was connecting ok, but my pc showed me these erros : 80048820 and extended error code 80048439. Router wouldn't allow it though as it needs to be TCP MMS + 40 (and as TCP MMS was set to 1400...) So I set the MTU to 1445 and it works. Thanks!
