Another build of MSN Messenger 7.5 has been released, this is revision 306 which fixes a few bugs and glitches. Some are such as dial-up user problems and lagging during messages and so forth. Many of the bugs fixed were to do with Chinese and Korean versions, and that pesky “Get a webcam” bug is finally fixed!
You can grab it at the MSN Messenger Web site, and Leah has, as always, blogged about the fixes.

It’s been nearly 3 weeks since I published the article on solutions for error 80048820, since then the article has receiver over 14,000 hits, most coming from search engines. Unfortunately, there are still many users not being able to fix it and often reverting back to MSN Messenger 7.0.
Last night, ViKz was able to fix it by removing what was possibly a redundant proxy server in Internet Explorer. The original article has now been updated with the procedure to remove any proxy settings.
I’m still interested to hear from people who still can’t fix this, even after following all the steps. Leave a comment here or there and hopefully this devil can be abolished!
You might remember wbmsn.net, well it has now moved to clientless.net and has been completely remade. No exciting new features this time, but it now boasts the ability to “just work”. Infact it clames to work on 99.9% of all browsers.
For those who don’t know, Clientless Conversations is a Web Based MSN Messenger Client which will work behind firewalls, at work, at school, at university, on kiosks, and virtually anywhere else you can imagine which has a browser of some form.
A new, improved version of MSN Agent detector has been released.
Electrosoft has worked very hard on this project, and fixed a lot of bugs. He has also updated the GUI to come up finally with a brilliant new look and performance.
