MSN Messenger 7.0.0813 new behaviour

Microsoft has released a Quick Fix Engineering (QFE) Patch to its beta testing team to use on MSN Messenger 7.0.0777, which will update the client to build number 0813. One of the most important fixes this patch brings is the “Always Sign On As:” bug, and it is also said to make the client faster as well as deliver a smoother overall performance when signing in.

Another change I noticed is that the behaviour change explained here has been reverted. This means that build 0813 will send session requests when you open a chatwindow with someone, just like the builds prior to 0777 used to do. This change is mainly noticeably when opening a chatwindow with a bot.

Will this fix the far too common “The following message cannot be delivered” bug? Let’s hope so.
