Reports of the sign-in errors 81000370 and 80072f0d seem to be on rise, so Jeff Wilkes (from MSN Support) has posted some possible solutions on his messenger support MSN Space. Feedback on these fixes has generally been really good, so go take a look if you can’t sign in!

Keane posted on the forums about another MSN Messenger worm doing the rounds. Labeled as Bropia.A by F-Secure, it spreads by sending itself as “Drunk_lol.pif”, “Webcam_004.pif”, “sexy_bedroom.pif”, “naked_party.pif” or “love_me.pif” to the users contacts. If you get a file transfer request with one of these files, do not accept it! Do not be fooled by the extension PIF being like GIF, it is definitely not an image.
F-Secure has a report on the worm.
